The National Organization of Trade Unions (NOTU) is committed to defending the rights of workers across Uganda. Through advocacy, collective bargaining, and legal support, NOTU ensures that employees are treated fairly, receive fair wages, and work in safe and dignified conditions. The organization monitors compliance with labor laws, addresses workplace violations, and represents workers in disputes with employers or government agencies. By empowering unions and individual members, NOTU strengthens the capacity of workers to claim their rights, promotes equality and social justice, and creates an environment where every employee can work without fear of exploitation or discrimination. Defending workers’ rights is central to NOTU’s mission of building a fair, inclusive, and sustainable labor movement.
