Eligibility & Requirements
Membership in NOTU is open to all registered labour unions in Uganda in accordance with the Trade Union Act and the NOTU Constitution. To become a member:
- The union must be legally registered and recognized under Ugandan labour laws.
- An affiliation fee must be paid as determined by the General Council from time to time.
- Each union must remit 10% of its monthly collections to NOTU before the 10th of every month.
- Declared paid-up membership determines voting rights and representation.
