The Platform and Gig Economy service of the National Organisation of Trade Unions (NOTU) addresses the emerging challenges and opportunities faced by workers in digital and non-traditional forms of employment. This service supports the organisation and representation of gig and platform workers, including those in ride-hailing, delivery, and freelance digital work. 

NOTU promotes recognition of these workers under labour laws and advocates for fair wages, social protection, job security, and safe working conditions. It also builds the capacity of unions to engage with digital labour platforms, influence policy, and develop innovative approaches to organising workers in the informal and online economy. Through research, awareness, and partnerships, the service ensures that no worker is left behind in the evolving world of work.
