The Women and Gender Issues service of the National Organisation of Trade Unions (NOTU) promotes equality, inclusion, and the empowerment of women in the world of work. This service supports unions to mainstream gender in their policies, programmes, and leadership structures, ensuring equal opportunities for participation and representation. NOTU strengthens the capacity of women leaders through training, mentorship, and advocacy, while addressing barriers such as discrimination, unequal pay, and workplace harassment. 

It also advances awareness of gender-responsive labour rights, maternity protection, and work-life balance.
