Programmes Officer

Businge Nicholas Carpenecus serves as a Programmes Officer at the National Organisation of Trade Unions (NOTU), where he is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing key initiatives that promote workers’ rights and welfare across Uganda. In this role, he ensures that NOTU’s programmes are effectively delivered, aligning with the union’s mission to advocate for fair labour standards, improved working conditions, and equitable opportunities for all members.

Businge plays a central role in organising training sessions, capacity-building workshops, and awareness campaigns to empower union members. He works closely with stakeholders, unions, and community partners to strengthen collaboration and maximize the impact of programmes. His dedication to workers’ social and economic development contributes significantly to advancing NOTU’s objectives and fostering a culture of solidarity within Uganda’s labour movement.
