Richard Bigirwa serves as the Secretary General of the National Organisation of Trade Unions (NOTU), where he plays a pivotal role in leading the union’s strategic initiatives and representing workers’ interests at national and international levels. In his capacity, he coordinates policy advocacy, oversees organizational operations, and ensures that the union effectively advances labour rights, fair working conditions, and social justice for members across Uganda.
