National Organization of Trade Unions (NOTU) National Dialogue on Platform work is taking place right now at Hotel Africana, Kampala. NOTU is partnering with the International Labour Organization (ILO) under the PROSPECTS Project, National Social Security Fund(NSSF), Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development MoGLSD, Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, Platform Association of Uganda and other stakeholders in the labour movement.

Issues of concern in this dialogue include drafting a National framework on the formalization and Protection of platform workers in Uganda, an introduction to the ILO Blue Report, which looks at 'Decent Work in the Platform Economy' and other issues concerning platform work. NOTU Secretary General Brother Richard Bigirwa says, "We have a role as a centre to make sure that platform workers know and enjoy their rights"
